My work as a theatre educator and teaching artist is driven by a deep belief in the power of theatre to ignite creativity, build community, and foster essential life skills. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Pace University and currently pursuing my Master of Science in Education for Educational Theatre at The City College of New York. I am also a Consent-Forward Artist through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC). As a professional singer, actor, and dancer, I have worked regionally, internationally, and Off-Broadway. My experience in the professional theatre world informs and enriches my approach as a theatre educator.

I've dedicated myself to shaping young artists through dance, movement, and original devised works. I have taught quality middle and high school aged workshops at festivals and conferences, including: Junior Theater Festival, Georgia Thespian Conference, and New York Thespian Festival. I have also worked across the country with various nonprofits and theatre companies as a teaching artist and director/choreographer.

Specifically within New York City, I have a commitment to building sustainable theatre programs in schools where these opportunities have been absent. Over the past four years, I've successfully founded and nurtured theatre programs at two different schools within New York City Public Schools. These programs have not only taken root but have flourished, with multiple fully produced musicals and student driven performances.

A significant aspect of my work also involves providing high-quality professional development for fellow educators and teaching artists. Through collaboration with organizations such as iTheatrics and New York Thespians, I design and lead workshops that equip educators with innovative strategies and practical tools to enhance their theatre programs. These workshops have addressed directing and choreographing your first musical with students, how to foster consent-forward classroom/rehearsal spaces, as well as how to utilize movement work as a teaching tool for social-emotional learning.

No matter what project I am working on, my focus remains on creating engaging, inclusive, and transformative theatrical experiences. My ultimate aim is to ensure that students and educators have as many tools as possible to impact others through their own creativity.
